Vampires

I've never been a fan of scary movies. I'd always opt to watch a comedy or a thriller and it started in my youth for two distinct reasons. My dad never liked them (he could never get over how fake they seemed) and my uncle Bill loved them. One time I was being babysat by my uncle and we were watching one of those original black and white Dracula vs. Wolfman vs. Frankenstein movies. Well he thinks it would be funny to sneak out of the pitch black room and come back in dressed as Dracula (cape, teeth and all). Ever since then, vampire movies have not been high on my list.

Now that peoples Halloween pictures are popping up all over facebook and I see all of the slutty vampires and sexy witches, I've realized I don't have to be afraid anymore. But please tell me one thing, when the hell did vampire movies become so girlie? I hope no one under the age of 18 is reading this post because their perception of a vampire and my perception of a vampire are very different these days, thanks to this damn Twilight series. I found this chart that I think best describes the way I'm feeling right about now.
