BG74-Gottingen vs. Buducnost Podgorica 74:80

Goettingen lost to Buducnost 74:80 however both teams advanced to last 16 of EuroChallenge. Goettingen even with the loss advanced from the first place, while Buducnost is second. The German side started with 27-23 and added 2 more points at the at the halftime. The team from Montenegro won the third frame 19-17 and won due to 26-16 in the last. Goran Jeretin paced all the winners with 22 points and Vladimir Dragicevic scored 16. Marko Simonovic  and Vitkovac Cedomir delivered 13 points each for the guests. Taylor Rochestie replied with 18 points for the hosts and Michael Meeks notched 16.

Call Me Montenegro

In Montenegro they speak Montenegrin and in Montenegrin, "Montenegro" means Black Mountain. Say that sentence 5x fast. We are off to the capital city of Podgorica to play against their Eurochallenge representative BC Buducnost Podgorica. After a 2-0 start in the Eurochallenge your boys of Gottingen are atop our Group and are finally starting to play good basketball. As good as the Russian and French leagues are, these Adriatic teams are known for being some of the toughest in the world. I know I'm not the only one up for the challenge.
