MEG Gottingen vs. Lokomotiv Kuban 92-71

Goettingen continued Lokomotiv slow start in EuroChallenge as they beat them 92:71. The German side improved to 3-1 in Group A, while the Russian squad fell at 0-4. The hosts opened the game with 30-19 and added 22-15 in the second period. Goettingen nailed 20 points each in the last two quarters for the total success. Dwayne Anderson paced all the winners with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Taylor Rochestie and Christopher McNaughton followed him with 14 apiece. Joksimovic Nebojsa and Vladovic Jakov responded with 15 points each in the losing effort.

Going To Russia

My teammates and I are on our way to Russia today to play in our first Eurochallenge game. The only thing that comes to mind when I think about Russia is this movie

So this game against Lokomotiv Kuban has got a lot more riding on it than just our first international game, a chance to be respected throughout Europe, and an opportunity to update my Facebook Where I've Been Map...I have to do this one for Apollo Creed. The centerS of the Russian team (yes plural) are all listed at or around 7'1". Aleksandr Savenkov, Vladislav Dragojlovic and Grigori Shukhovtsov (try saying that 5x fast) but I betcha my whole years salary that neither of them will go all "Drago" on us and intimidate your boys with an "I'll Break You" line.
